The International Trends and Services Facet was established in 1970 by The Links, Incorporated to provide services to our communities throughout the African Diaspora with a mission supported by three essential pillars:  humanitarian outreach, advocacy and global awareness.

1)  Humanitarian outreach responds to natural disasters or to people experiencing unique and extremely harsh circumstances.

2) Advocacy on behalf of people suffering under the grip of human rights abuses

3)  Global awareness among the citizens of the United States.  This takes the form of an engaging and informative series of programs with a focus on history, current events, or the arts.
