Our chapter's commitment to enriching and enhancing the lives of Black youth is evident through its financial assistance programs, which supports students in their academic pursuits at higher education institutions. This financial aid not only helps relieve the burden of educational expenses but also promotes access to higher education for underrepresented students
LINKS INVESTMENT IN FUTURE EDUCATION (LIFE) BOOK AWARD
The Farmington Valley (CT) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated is pleased to announce its Links Investment In Future Education (LIFE) Book Award for 2024. This $1,500 award is available in 2024 to high school graduating seniors in the Greater Hartford area and is renewable for up to four (4) consecutive years.

DEIDRE L. BIBBY MEMORIAL VISUAL ARTS AWARD
The memorial award is a financial award given in memory of Deirdre L. Bibby, artist and noted curator of African American Art, and member of Farmington Valley (CT) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. The award is given to an African American college student entering his/her sophomore, junior or senior year and pursuing a fine arts degree. Application is upon request.
